Assembly Process
Cathode and anode electrode sheets, completed through the electrode process, are assembled into battery cells by integrating them with other key battery components: separators and electrolytes.
The assembly process may vary depending on the battery cell's form factor and the manufacturer's technology.
Pouch Cell
Pouch-type cells contain liquid electrolyte within soft packaging materials.
They are lightweight, flexible in shape, and offer the advantage of relatively low heat generation.

NOTCHING MC

This equipment forms tabs on rolled electrodes, precisely cuts them
into individual sheets, and stacks them.

It accommodates various cell formats simply by changing the die
or adjusting the laser parameters.
Cut sheets are automatically loaded into magazines for continuous, non-stop production.

CUTTING MC

This equipment precisely cuts tab-formed electrode rolls into
individual sheets and stacks them.

Automatic cutting-position correction detects the tab position
to ensure a high production yield.
Cut sheets are automatically loaded into magazines for continuous, non-stop production.

STACKING MC

This equipment stacks a specified number of magazine-fed anode
and cathode sheets with a separator to produce a jelly roll (electrode assembly).

A high-speed zigzag stacking system uses separator feeding and swing technology.
High-speed double-sheet separation and pulling discharge improve productivity.
Vision inspection of electrode surfaces and gaps enhances stacking quality.

Various separator finishing options are available, including taping, bonding, and heat pressing.

TAB WELDING SYSTEM

This high-performance equipment precisely welds the foil and tab
to efficiently collect current from multiple stacked electrode sheets.

Our Tab Welding System supports both unidirectional and bidirectional tab designs,
maximizing flexibility and production efficiency across various cell types.

PACKAGING SYSTEM

This equipment forms the pouch, encloses the jelly roll,
injects electrolyte, seals the cell, and discharges the finished unit.

Our Packaging System allows the forming, sealing, and electrolyte-filling processes
to be installed separately, enabling flexible configuration
for each installation environment and customer requirement.

DEGASSING

This equipment removes gas generated inside the cell after formation charging and discharging.

Multiple functions, including cell rolling and inspection, are integrated into one system
to maximize efficiency.
Single- or double-folding options accommodate various battery cell configurations.
A piercing system minimizes contamination inside the vacuum chamber.
